“DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. I was promised by Anthony and Renee that a room and private bathroom had been reserved for me. Based on those assurances, I flew across the country from New York City with my dog to move into the program. After multiple attempts to reach them throughout the day for confirmation, I was finally informed at approximately 9:30 p.m. the night before my scheduled pickup that they could no longer honor the arrangements they had made. What made the situation even worse was that I later learned other sober living facilities had been told I had already secured housing, leaving me with very few options at the last minute. Being stranded in an unfamiliar state with a dog and no housing plan was incredibly stressful and are devastating. Working with individuals in recovery requires professionalism, reliability, and compassion. In my experience, this organization demonstrated none of those qualities. The lack of communication, broken promises, and disregard for the impact of their actions on a vulnerable population were deeply disappointing. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this program to NOT proceed.”
