What patients say on Google

“My experience at Sleep and Brain was unlike any medical appointment I've ever had. The level of testing and attention to detail was incredible. Every test was explained thoroughly, and the staff was incredibly friendly, patient, and supportive throughout the entire process. They made what could have been an overwhelming experience feel easy and comfortable. The brain map was one of the most fascinating parts of my evaluation. It was amazing to actually see how my brain was functioning and have everything explained in a way that made sense. The CBCT scan was equally eye-opening. For the first time, I was able to see my airway and understand why I had been struggling for so long. It revealed that my turbinates were significantly swollen, which was contributing to poor airflow and worsening my sleep. No previous doctor had ever evaluated my airway in that level of detail or taken the time to connect all the pieces. I left feeling like I finally understood what was happening with my sleep and, more importantly, had a clear plan to improve it. If you're looking for a practice that goes beyond the standard approach and truly investigates the root causes of sleep problems, I highly recommend Sleep and Brain. The entire team made the experience outstanding.”

“I was referred to Sleep and Brain by my doctor after struggling with fatigue and brain fog for years. I never imagined that the cause of my symptoms was actually sleep apnea. When Dr. Rama recommended CPAP therapy, I was honestly hesitant. I always pictured a large, uncomfortable mask that I would never be able to sleep with. Thankfully, that was not my experience at all. Dr. Rama took the time to explain everything and guide me through the process. Sandra was incredibly helpful in finding the right pressure settings and helping me choose a small, lightweight mask that I barely notice while sleeping. She was patient, knowledgeable, and made sure everything was adjusted until I felt comfortable and confident using my CPAP. The difference has been life changing. I wake up feeling refreshed, clearheaded, and ready for the day, something I hadn’t experienced in a very long time. My energy, focus, and overall quality of life have improved tremendously. I can’t thank Dr. Rama, Sandra, and the entire Sleep and Brain team enough for helping me feel like myself again. If you’re struggling with fatigue, brain fog, or poor sleep, don’t ignore it. Getting evaluated at Sleep and Brain was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.”

“I came to Dr. Rama's office during the most difficult time of my life. I was 21 years old and dealing with an excruciating mental health crisis. What I did not realize is how my sleep was contributing to my issues. During my initial consultation, Dr. Rama immediately pointed out my receded jaw and small airway. He recommended jaw surgery right off the bat to fix this issue. At his clinic, he was also able to do every test and image required, which was very convenient. What I respect most about Dr. Rama and his approach is to treat the core problem, and not just the symptoms. Any other sleep doctor would have given me a CPAP and sent me on my way, but Dr. Rama went above and beyond because he understands that conventional sleep apnea treatments are just a bandaid for the condition. I ultimately received double jaw surgery from a surgeon in the Bay Area, and am thrilled with my results. Instead of constantly struggling with my sleep and having to continually make adjustments to it, I can sleep with ease now. My nervous system has become more resilient, my energy levels are constant, and I am just an overall healthier human being. Sleep is so important for our health as humans, and Dr. Rama educated me thoroughly on this. I can confidently say that Dr. Rama is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. He is truly a gem in our American healthcare system, which can be great at times, but other times can be incredibly frustrating. I would never go to anyone else if myself or anyone I knew were struggling with their sleep. I even sent my sister to him! If Dr. Rama and I did not cross paths, I am sure I would still be struggling with my sleep, and trying to piece together lackluster treatments when the only real answer is jaw surgery. I am so thankful that I happened to live right down the road from his office. By pure luck, I came across his office online because he was so close to me, and it was one of the best decisions I ever made for my health. I highly recommend Dr. Rama and the Sleep and Brain Clinic.”

“Extremely poor manner towards patients and horrible communication throughout. The doctor will tell you that a CPAP probably won't work, for you then happily charge you for a monthly rental to a machine and further try to upsell you for "SleepTrackerAI." This place has all the downsides of Silicon Valley wrapped in one convenient location. The consultation appointment felt like a total waste of time. We did a brain map, which the doctor said showed errors because of leads potentially not being set properly, then he didn't redo the test so what was the point? The rhinomanometry exam showed one of my nostrils had poor airflow, but the doctor didn't recommend any treatment here and just completely moved on within 5 seconds. Again, what was the point? The respiratory strength is compared to data from a with a very low sample of patients and includes unreliable and overlapping data points such as 60-69 men as having the highest expiratory pressure. Much higher than those much younger. Does that sound right to you? Overall, I did not gain anything from this appointment other than my wallet being significantly lighter. I will not be coming back.”
