How likely are you to recommend Pacific Mind Health - TMS, Spravato & Psychiatry, Long Beach?
“I've been seeing Yadi at PMH for about a year and a half. I have nothing but amazing things to say. She’s a wonderful listener who always lets me go at my own pace while still keeping me accountable to my goals. What sets her apart is how unbelievably attentive and compassionate she is during my hardest moments. She creates such a safe space while keeping me moving forward.”
“⭐ One Star My experience with Esther and the covering provider, Shallu, left me feeling like a guinea pig or an experiment rather than a patient receiving thoughtful, trauma-informed care. Medication doses were increased too quickly, and additional medications seemed to be continually piled on instead of my reactions and side effects being carefully evaluated. During a period when I was experiencing serious symptoms and needed appropriate emergency support, I felt that essential emergency medication was being gatekept. As a woman of color with trauma, the way I was treated felt retraumatizing, dismissive, and lacking in compassion. While Esther was unavailable, Shallu made significant changes and decisions regarding my medication management despite not being my regular provider. She frequently cursed during the session, which did not bother me much by itself, but her overall tone and approach became concerning in the context of making major leaps in my care without the provider who had initially been treating me. One of my anxiety-related symptoms was excessive scratching. At the end of the appointment, Shallu repeated three times, “no more scratching,” in a tone that felt as though she were speaking to a dog rather than a patient in distress. I remember thinking, if it were that easy, I would not need to pay for professional help. Perhaps I could simply be told, “no more anxiety.” I needed careful medication management, communication, and trauma-informed support. Instead, I left feeling judged, dehumanized, and unsafe under their care.”
“Pacific Mind Health in Long Beach is truly remarkable. Not only do they provide top-notch care for civilians, but their dedication to our Veterans and active-duty military members is second to none. Their compassionate team helps those facing trauma, PTSD, and complex mental health challenges with genuine care and expertise. I highly recommend”
“Dr Gol is very attentive and supportive. She listens closely to what I need and how I am feeling during every visit. I never feel rushed. She shows genuine care in our conversations and takes my symptoms and any side effects seriously. She hears my concerns and addresses them in a thoughtful way. She adjusts my medication when necessary, which has made a real difference in my treatment. I feel heard and understood and I highly recommend her.”
