What patients say on Google
“My experience with mindPath should have been life saving, but instead was just a big waste of time adding to my chaos due to an inexperienced doctor I got stuck with and an incompetent office assistant that scheduled me to . Long story short, I searched through my insurance to find an in-network Male psychiatrist that specializes in adhd care, the idea being "continued adhd medication management" and to pick up where my treatment had left off a couple years back, having been on medication for nearly the 20years proceeding the last couple years that I was without insurance and therefore could not afford out of pocket and wanted to see if I could handle my adhd better than when I was 17; Unfortunately, I am highly disfunctional without medication and disappointed to find myself in complete chaos now. My insurance "find a Dr" directory found a Dr. Robert X and mindpath happened to be where he practiced. But when I call to setup an appointment, I am told Dr. Robert X is not accepting new clients and recommends some other rando new inexperienced female that apparently knows next to nothing about adhd, after specifically searching for a male psychiatrist that treats adhd. They stick me with some new female that doesn't understand a thing about the situation and acts as if I would have to get a new diagnosis through testing, and somehow this testing is all booked up through the end of the year.. Huh!? You're telling me that I have to wait 6 months to take a test that will re-diagnos what I know it will already say? That's like telling a kid with cancer that he can go live a normal life for 6months and then come back to find out if you're still sick or not.. And in the meantime no other patient can get help with adhd for at least 6 months either then, since they are all "booked up?" Nothing was offered as an alternative treatment or suggestion on how I can try to manage my adhd for the next 6 months as I've clearly come to her seeking help for the chaos the last 2 years has already brought. Just an explaination as to why she wouldn't be prescribing me medication and mentioned she could send out some referrals that would reach out to me for depression and anxiety therapy; of which I have yet to hear from a single one of these supposid referrals, but the only reason I'm depressed and anxious in the first place is because I have adhd and can't function in day to day society very well without medication assistance. I don't get how one person can hold so much power over another individuals life, and I really don't get how that person can knowingly hold that power and intentually choose NOT to help the one struggling asking for help. But she told me that she wasn't comfortable simply continuing my previously carefully crafted medication routine even though I had printed and signed release forms of patients confidential treatment history from 2 of my previous doctor's in other states. Again, no game plan on how to help me, simply that she wasn't going to be prescribing me anything. Super unprofessional. Thanks a ton "Dr." Kim X”
“The office staff are efficient and polite. Getting an appointment is really easy when I make it after my appointment. Getting an emergency appointment is, understandably, a bit more difficult. I’m most impressed with Dr Trimmer. He has really made a difference in my life. He is incredibly patient; I’ve never had a psychiatrist stick with me for nearly as long. He’s dedicated to helping me.”
“Andrea is so professional and kind. She has a calming way about her which is nice in this type of business. She is very helpful and quick to return calls after she gets the correct answer. Dr. Trimmer is a wonderful doctor and the only one I will see. He is kind, patient, comforting, and very good with finding the right course of treatment without pushing meds. He takes his time and pays close attention to make sure he finds the right course of treatment. I waited 4 months to get back in to see him. He is the only psychiatrist I trust.”
“Excellent care, easy in person or telehealth and never an issue getting my prescriptions. I’ve been seeing Dr Pajouhi for years and she is an excellent psychiatrist.”
