“I called and asked if this office has any neurodivergent psychiatrists or psychiatrists who specialize in neurodivergence. The person on the phone, who didn't introduce herself, literally said "what's a neurodivergent?" What? Also, the office was supposed to send me a link to upload relevant documents before my first appointment, and they forgot to do so. I was told they would send the link right before my appointment, so I waited, but no link. I figured maybe "right before the appointment" meant even the night before or morning of, so I didn't think to reach out about it. But since I never got the link, I couldn't make an account or upload the info. The documents I was asked to provide were directly relevant and would've been useful for my provider to have prior to the meeting. Edit: I'm looking through the other reviews, and it's funny how they reply mainly to 5-star reviews but don't address many of the lower-star reviews. Edit 2: It gets better. Apparently the psychiatrist never put in the order for the meds he said he'd prescribe, even though that was the only thing he recommended and was willing to help me with. What was the point of the meeting at all? Edit 3: I called the office to cancel my follow-up appt, and she brought up the fact that I've "received [my] medication" so I told her that I have not because the pharmacy didn't have my prescription. She double checked and said that I was right and that there seemed to have been a "transmission error." I asked if those happen often and she said yes”

“Dr. Michels is top notch. I could tell just from my first appointment with him. However, I was disappointed with the staff, as they were supposed to have scheduled me with a follow up and didn't, resulting in a delay of over a month before I can see the doctor again. There was no apology for this. They also did not seem client-centered in general because when I first walked in, I seriously got the impression no one was there. The one desk person who was there (after I spotted her) did not even look at me or welcome me (The whole waiting area was empty). Additionally, when I tried calling them to ask a question (well before closing time), no one answered, giving me the impression they left early. Not surprising, given the office was pretty dead when I was there earlier. That said, if a business is advertised to be open until a certain time, someone should be available until that time, especially in this business! This is why I am giving three, instead of five, stars.”
