What patients say on Google

“I began receiving services at Eagle View Psychiatry over a year ago. I had never seen a psychiatrist for myself before, and I hadn't had a primary care doctor in almost five years. I searched online for somewhere that was accepting new patients and could see me as soon as possible. I initially started seeing Provider Rose monthly. She took the time to listen to what I was going through, and together we slowly worked on finding medications that could help me. I would come in each month for medication adjustments and to talk through the problems I was dealing with. Then one day, something happened. When I arrived for my appointment, Rose had an agitated patient in the room. I could hear the patient yelling while Rose tried to calm her down. I waited patiently in the lobby past my appointment time, which I was completely okay with. Another provider eventually came out of the room next door and called my name. I looked up, and I froze. It was Manvir. I knew her. We had worked together years earlier at a Skilled Nursing Facility. She was a Registered Nurse, and I was a new Licensed Vocational Nurse. She was one of the nurses who helped orient me when I was starting out. We only talked a few times, but I always remembered her as someone who was kind, helpful, and supportive. And now she’s a NP!! (So proud of her!!) On that day… to be honest, I was embarrassed at first. I was struggling with an addiction that I had kept hidden, and suddenly someone I knew from my past was sitting in front of me as my provider. But instead of judging me, Manvir listened. She understood. I opened up to her about what I was going through. After that appointment, I went back to my car and finally let everything out. I cried, reflected on my life, and realized that maybe this was the help I had been looking for. Manvir eventually became my provider, and I continued my appointments routinely. My recovery journey wasn't perfect. There were ups and downs, good days and difficult days, but she continued to listen, understand, and offer advice and resources without making me feel judged. I want to sincerely thank Manvir, Rose, and Simmy for creating a place where I felt safe enough to be honest about what I was going through. And thank you, Simmy, for always welcoming everyone with a smile when they first enter the door. Those little things really do matter when someone is going through a difficult time. As for me, I continue my recovery. This time, I'm continuing on my own, but I'm taking with me everything I've learned, along with the advice, tools, and resources I received along the way. Today, I'm in a much better place. I'm happier. Looking back, I'm grateful I made that first appointment. If you're struggling and don't know where to turn, I would encourage you to reach out to Eagle View Psychiatry. Asking for help wasn't easy for me, but I'm truly glad I took that first step. Everything will be okay.”

“Prior to going to this location, there was an issue on their end with my appointment time. My appointment was at 1530. The location called and left a voicemail, the day before, saying they looked forward to seeing us at 1630. I was confused why they changed my appointment without checking with me, first, to see if it was okay. I called their only phone number and spoke with someone from either a call center or someone working remotely. The person told me my appointment was, in fact, at 1530 and it was a mistake on their end. So, I brushed it off as a one time mistake. On the day of the appointment, I took my son (under 18) to be seen by the psychiatrist at this location. Our first appointment was with a Nurse Practioner. The NP asked about his history leading up to this visit and wanted all prior medical documentation related to the visit. My feeling about this initial appointment was irritation. This appointment was something which could have been handled remotely or electronically because that's all they wanted and that's how they operated; so an in person visit was a waste of gas, time and money. They didn't want to speak to my son (who was present for the entire hour) and only grilled me about where the prior medical records were. They wanted me to complete their forms to allow them to obtain the records from other providers. They also stated their treatment will be based on the diagnosis/records from the other providers. I learned, after the first appointment, my son will not be seeing a psychiatrist and NPs will manage his medication prescription based on the information they will get from the other providers. Apparently, he will never see a psychiatrist unless someone there determined he needed to see one. So all we'll ever be seeing are NPs. I wanted to give this place a chance so I made a follow up appointment; it was going to be with another NP. This appointment was via Zoom. Come the day of the appointment, my son was pulled from school (it was a regular school day). My appointment was at 0940. The day before, this location sent a text saying the appointment was at 0900. I logged into the Zoom waiting room around 0920 and the appointment time in the waiting room said 0950. Now I'm not sure if I'm late or early and I have no idea what happened to my original appointment time. Come 0950, we're still waiting for the host to start the meeting. At 0956, I call the only number they have for this business; I'm placed on hold. Come 10, still no one has connected, so I sent my son back to school while remaining on hold. Come 1011, no one connected on Zoom and I'm still on hold.... I logged out of Zoom and hung up at 1012. The call center/remote guy calls later asking if we wanted to reschedule our 0900 Zoom appointment. The guy was told the appointment was at 0940, their Zoom link said 0950 and we had no idea where 0900 came from. Needless to say, we will not be engaged with this business any further. ZERO star rating.”

“Their autism specialist said it wasn't possible to have autism and a masters degree. They said autistic individuals (including girls) are identified reliably before age 5 an would only be in special education.”
